Spy Code and mission Numero Uno (#1)

Okey Dokey (yea thats just sounds dumb) lets get to buisness (that means let me entertain you a bit) with a SPY CODE!!!!!!!.Yes, thats right a SPY CODE!!!!!!!.(Yes this will be the last time i do that but hey gotta have a bit of fun and yes i am a bit weird but a little weirdness never hurt anybody, Or did it?!?!)Ok the code is called the Polybius' Square and its one of my favorite codes. It was made by the Greek writer Polybius who lived in the second centry B.C. He made the code by switching letters for numbers.

Here is how it works:

1.There are 5 rows across and five collums down (ill see if i can put a little picture later).This makes 25 squares.But there are 26 letters in the english alphabet.Two letters aren't used much (x,y) so they share a square.

2.Each Letter is identified but 2 numbers First take the number from the row going across then take one from the collum going down. Example: T is 45 T is in row 4 and collum 5.

If you understood that then Spy test time (not mission):

Turn this phrase into numbers: Spy Mission Alert
Decode this phrase: 34 51 33 12 15 43 44 43 15 41 32 11 13 15 32 15 45 45 15 43 44

Mission time!!!!!
Okay i thought that it might be fun just to give you an easy (you can never tell with me) mission. Heres all ya have to do: Make up your own code then post a little on how it works and what you named it.

Tip:Make it simple but hard for the bad guys to crack if its too hard errors can happen when writing or reading.

Phew and that ends the longest post out of my 3 posts.

Heres a picture:

1 2 3 4 5
1A B C D E
2F G H I J
3K L M N O
4P Q R S T

E=V
F=T
G=S
H=R
